Breast Augmentation

A procedure commonly performed at Bella Forma Cosmetic Surgery Center to enhance the appearance and volume of breast tissue for women who need it.

It’s a safe procedure with minimal down time. Over 95% of the implants used in Bella Forma Cosmetic Surgery Center are Silicone implants. The incisions depend on the patient’s anatomy and desire.

CONSULTATION
After arriving at the clinic, you will be asked to fill out a few forms with information about your medical history and desires for your new body image. You will meet Dr. Janho and his assistant to discuss your goals for your new body. You will be asked to disrobe, and will receive a full physical examination.

During this exam, Dr. Janho will evaluate your bone structure, skin elasticity, medical abnormalities, muscle tone, distribution of fat, and scarring tendencies. In addition, it is important to assess precious liposuction performed to plan a successful outcome.

The exam will consist of gentle pinching, and you will have the opportunity to bring attention to any concerns you may have with your body. Once the physical exam is complete, you will get dressed and discuss recommended procedures. Any questions will be answered by the doctor at this time. You will then meet with the patient coordinator to discuss pricing. Bella Forma Cosmetic Surgery Center does not believe in hidden fees. Your quote will be all inclusive meaning that there will not be additional charges for blood work, garments, or medication.

Instructions to follow prior to your breast augmentation
1) Pre-Op Visit (Blood Tests): Your pre-op appointment should be scheduled 1 week prior to your surgery.

2) 10 days prior to your surgery
•Do not take and avoid any of the following medications 10 days prior to your surgery. Aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Aleve or Fish Oil. If you need to take any
over the counter pain medication, you may take Tylenol.
•Do not drink any alcoholic beverages or smoke.

3) Purchase Arnica Montana from a natural food store such as GNC, or from our office and take 5 days prior to surgery.

4) Medications provided by our clinic: Antibiotic: Keflex 500mg, take 2 green capsules the night before the surgery. The day after your surgery, begin taking
1 tablet every 6 hours until finished.

5) The day before the surgery
•Personal Hygiene: Bathe the night before the surgery as well as the morning of the surgery. Use Betadine (can be purchased at any drug store) and
lather well from head to toes. Give particular attention in washing your genitals.
•Shave your bikini area and under your arms to prevent any possible infection.
•Avoid strenuous activities and get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids

6) Day of surgery
•Arrive at the clinic at your scheduled surgery time. Please wear clothing that is comfortable and loose. Preferably a front buttoned shirt or a garment
with a zipper. Avoid any garment that that you will have to pull over your head.
•Remove all make-up and nail polish.
•Do not wear contact lenses the day of the procedure.
•Remove all jewelry and any body piercing.
•You may have a light meal up to 4 hours prior to your procedure. Bring a yogurt to eat after your procedure.

7) You must have a family member or friend to come with you the day of your procedure since you will not be able to operate a motor vehicle.
