Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is a new non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves an injection of Carbon dioxide right beneath the skin through a tiny thin needle. It can improve a wide range of conditions to give your skin that smooth, tone, healthy appearance.

What can carboxytherapy treat?

Some of the applications of carboxytherapy include:

  • Cellulite
  • Loose or sagging skin
  • Dark circles beneath your eyes
  • Stretch marks
  • Fatty deposits (double chin, bra fat, etc.)

How does carboxytherapy work?

Carboxytherapy works by stimulating circulation to the treatment area, once it is injected the body perceives carboxytherapy as a lack of oxygen and responds by improving blood flow to the affected area. Treatments also stimulate new collagen production, which smooths and tightens your skin.

When used to treat cellulite and reduce fatty deposits, carboxytherapy works by introducing a greater volume of carbon dioxide into your body. This damages fat cells and break apart the connective tissues that cause cellulite.

Is it painful?

A medical-grade numbing cream is applied a few minutes before we start your carboxytherapy sessions. You may notice some itching, tingling, or warmth in the treatment area, but there is no significant discomfort.
